A beautiful collector's item! Arisaema Speciosum is also called Jack in the Pulpit or the Double Whip Cobra Lily. It has large deep purple-violet spathes are reticulated with with white. The flower is slightly less broad than then griffithii variety and has two 'tongues' or 'whips'. These mysterious looking plants are great for the shade and needs a very well-drained soil. Amazing pot plant for the cold greenhouse. It is not a plant for hot summer climates. USDA Zones 5-7 (5-9 on the west coast).
